Wem Rural Parish Council is committed to supporting local community groups, including financial assistance where possible. Each year, the Council invites applications for its Community Grants Scheme, with deadlines published in the Rural Review.
At the January Parish Meeting, it was agreed to open the 2025-26 Community Grants Scheme from 1st March to 30th April 2025. Applications will be reviewed at the May Parish Council meeting.
How to Apply for a Community Grant:
- Check Eligibility – Read the Community Grants Policy to ensure your group qualifies.
- Understand Priorities – Review the Action Plan to align with the Council’s focus areas.
- Apply Online or download the Application Form – Available from www.wemrural-pc.gov.uk/community-grants
