CHANGING OF THE GUARD IN THE PARISH…..with apologies to A. A. Milne
On behalf of the Parishioners of Newtown and Northwood, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Stella Whyte for her many years of service to the people of WRPC. Not only was Stella a stalwart of WRPC, she served as Chair of Governors at Newtown School and also played a significant role in The Friends of Newtown School, as indeed did her husband, Mike.
Stella guided me through my tentative beginnings as a Parish Councillor. She was extremely supportive in many projects, bringing her own personal knowledge and experience to contribute and make a difference to the local community.
