Fast Jet Noise Warning: Thursday 8 May 2014
There will be some unusual air activity taking place at RAF Shawbury on Thursday 8 May 2014.
RAF Shawbury is hosting Landowners’ Day, which is when we invite local landowners who have provided landing sites and fields for the Defence Helicopter Flying School, and explain about our role at RAF Shawbury
There will be a typhoon fast jet aircraft arriving between 9am and 9.30am and it will do a role demonstration between 12.45pm and 12.55pm. This is likely to create some noise, but only for a short duration.
Please pass this onto to the horse-riding community and anyone that might be in the area and effected by the noise.
