Getting together for the Great British Spring Clean!

A day of Wem Rural Parish Council members and parishioners getting together for The Great British Spring Clean, otherwise known as litter picking up in The Lowe area!

Sausage and bacon rolls were kindly donated by the Co-Op in Wem. Many thanks.

Blessed to have had such good weather.

A lot of cyclists out and about. Then a delightful horse and carriage went by.

Finished off at the Church Hall in Wem, having been invited to join the monthly Community Lunch.

We ran into the ever charming Rob Ballantyne and met John the new vicar.

We also met Sybil and Mike who live in Horton….. Sybil is a maker of rather good conserves!
